The Quds Day

"The Quds Day is a universal day. It is not an exclusive day for Quds itself. It is a day for the oppressed to rise and stand up against the arrogant." - Imam Khomeini
The International Day of Qods was envisioned by Imam Khomeini in solidarity with the suffering of Palestinians to be held on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadhan and has successfully been carried out for the past 32 years on a global scale increasing every year.
Our stand here is not against any people or any religion or any nation.  Our stand is against oppression, it is against injustice, it is against slavery, it is against corruption, it is against tyranny, it is against discrimination, it is against racism, it is against prejudice, it is against hatred, it is against inequality, and it is against terrorism in all its forms all over the world.
My question to the Muslims of the world, who was it that first stood up for the rights of the Palestinians?  Was it the Saudi Government?  Was it the Bahraini Government?  Was it the Turkish Government?  Was it the Jordanian Government?  Was it the Egyptian Government?
No my dear friends, my brothers and sisters.  These countries and these governments did not stand up for the rights and protection of the Palestinian people.  It was Imam Khomeini and the Islamic Republic of Iran that stood up for the rights and protection of the oppressed Palestinian people and the oppressed people of the world.
And I ask you, who in the world is standing up to the massacre of the Palestinians and the Muslims today?  Is it the custodians of the Haramain?  Is it the Saudi government?  Is it the Turkish government?  Is it the Jordanian government?  Is it the Egyptian government?  Is it the Bahraini government? 
No brothers and sisters, the governments of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Qatar, Pakistan, and Kuwait have never stood up against the oppression of the Palestinian people and even today, now, at this time, they continue to turn the other way and ignore the tragedy being committed in Palestine.  It is the Islamic Republic of Iran and Syed Ali Khamenei who are today standing up and defending the oppressed of the world.
The Palestinian people are dying of thirst, in the summer, during Ramadhan, while the tyrant pharaohs of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Turkey, and Bahrain live in their lavish palaces and eat and drink to their fill.   Oh tyrant oppressors, have fear of Allah and remember that Pharaoh drowned to death, weak and broken.  Your end will be no different.
And speaking of Pharoahs, oh Zionist tyrants, what has happened to you, have you forgotten the history of Judaism.  Have you forgotten the holocaust in Germany? Then why do you commit holocaust in the present day against the Palestinians.  Have you forgotten the oppression of pharaoh committed against the jewish people?  Then why do you commit oppression on the weak Palestinian people.  Were you not driven out by oppressors from your homeland?  Then why do you today drive out people from their homelands.  Were not your sons killed by Pharoah?  Then why do you today target children shooting them in the eyes?  How the tables have turned and how history has changed, that the people who were oppressed in the past have today become the greatest of oppressors.  The people who were afraid of Pharoah, have become the Pharoahs of today.  Wake up and realize what you have become. 
And to all oppressors all over the world, the Zionist, the Saudi, the takfiri, to the king of Jordan, to Erdogan, to the al-Khalifa, to Buhari of Nigeria, to Qatar, to Daesh, to taliban, to al-qaeda, to Boko Haram, to all you tyrants both in the East and the West, remember that Truth and Justice will prevail, for it is the promise of Allah, and falsehood will vanish and be destroyed and most surely you are all on the side of falsehood.
The apartheid Zionist regime of Israel denies 1.8 million people in Gaza their basic rights, including freedom of movement, proper jobs, adequate healthcare and education.  Gaza has been blockaded since 2007, a situation that has caused a decline in the standard of living, unprecedented levels of unemployment, and unrelenting poverty.  In Ramadhan they have stopped basic necessities such as water.  440 Palestinian children are currently held in Israeli detention centers, while between 500 and 700 Palestinian children appear in Israel's military courts annually.
And what about the Custodians of the Haramain?  What about the country that the Muslims in the world look up to so dearly?  What have they done?  The regime in Saudi Arabia has launched its deadly campaign against Yemen, its impoverished southern neighbor since March of 2015, continuing their massacre of the Yemeni people through the holy months like Ramadhan where war is prohibited. 
 At least 10,000 people have been killed in the Saudi airstrikes and Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International said they have documented unlawful Saudi airstrikes on Yemeni homes, markets, hospitals, schools, civilian businesses and mosques, which have left at least 913 civilians dead. 
Why has the world remained silent in the face of these crimes and countless others being committed across the globe.  Where are the human rights organizations of the US and Europe.  Where is the United Nations.  Where are the muslims.  Where are the truth and justice seekers.  Where are the noble protectors of the oppressed.  Shame on the world for keeping silent in the face of these crimes being committed all over the world.
Al Qods day is for the support of all the oppressed people of the world.  We are here in support of the Palestinian people who are under genocide, the Syrian people who fled their homeland in the millions, the Iraqi people who have died in the thousands, the Irani people who are tortured through sanctions. 
We are here in support of the Pakistani people who are under continuous target killing, the Kashmiri people who want their independence, the Afghan people under decades of occupation, the Azeri people under tyrant rule.  We are here in support of the Turkish people under tyrant rule, the Nigerian people and the illegal detention of their Sheikh, the Egyptian people under tyrant rule. 
We are here in support of the Lebanese people and their resistance, the Yemeni people being massacred by Saudis, the Bahraini people whose voice is being buried. 
We are here in support of the American and European people who are being tricked by their governments into slavery.  We are here in support of all the oppressed both in the East and the West.  To the oppressed of the East and the West, we are here to support you and we are with you.
Sheikh Zakzaky we are with you, Sheikh Nimr we are with you, Nabeel Rajab we are with you, Sheikh Isa Qasim we are with you, Syed Raja Naser Abbas we are with you, Syed Sistani we are with you, Syed Khamenei we are with you.  Imame Zaman we are with you.  We, the Truth loving and justice seeking people of the world are with you.  By the will of Allah, we are with you till our dying breath, and we are all Al-Qods.
